Chateau Miraval, Angelina Jolie has pleaded with Brad Pitt to put an end to their legal battles. Before 2021, the pair owned a 50/50 share in the property, but things got ugly when Jolie sought to sell her stake in it. Pitt subsequently brought legal action, arguing that Jolie's transaction went against the marriage arrangement in which he had agreed to have the right to purchase her stock, as per the reports of 'Page Six'.
Paul Murphy, Jolie's attorney, claimed that even though Pitt now has authority over their shared assets and company, he is still seeking Jolie for punitive damages in addition to $67 million. In response, Jolie said that Pitt had made her sign a more comprehensive non-disclosure agreement (NDA) that covered his alleged misbehavior and mistreatment of her and their children. These allegations were refuted by Pitt's group.
Jolie wanted the larger NDA at first, according to documents submitted by Pitt's attorneys as hostilities increased. Jolie's team retaliated by highlighting Pitt's purported attempts to use legal battles to punish and control her. They stressed the significance of providing proof to refute Pitt's claims.
