US Constitution, US President- elect Donald Trump will receive an annual salary of $400,000, as determined by Congress.
According to GO Banking Rates, in addition to this base salary, the US President is entitled to several allowances that enhance his financial package. These allowances include a $50,000 presidential expense account for personal and professional expenses, a $100,000 travel fund for official travel and an entertainment budget of $19,000 per year for hosting events.

Adding on to that, there is a one-time redecorating allowance of $100,000 for the renovation of the White House, asserted GO Banking Rates.
During his first term, Donald Trump pledged to donate his salary back to the government and reportedly contributed at least $1.4 million of his earnings to various federal agencies, noted GO Banking Rates. However, questions still remain regarding the donations for the last two quarters of the year 2020.
