Jamie Raskinhas recently and reportedly criticized Tesla CEO Elon Musk's role in the US President Donald Trump administrationthrough the Department of Government Efficiency(DOGE) while accusing Elon Musk of usurping presidential powers, reported Fox News. Jamie Raskin also introduced that the ‘Nobody Elected Elon Musk Act’ to challenge Elon Musk's expanding influence within the federal government.
According to Fox News, Tesla CEO Elon Musk while serving as a special government employee has now been leading DOGE's aggressive cost-cutting efforts while targeting important agencies like USAID and the Treasury Department. The department has now already faced numerous legal challenges which include a temporary restraining order blocking access to the sensitive Treasury data.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk defends the actions of DOGE as extremely necessary government reform while putting forward an argument that the bureaucracy has become an ‘unconstitutional fourth branch of government’ with random and excessive power, asserted Fox News. US President Donald Trump actually supports these efforts while claiming the goal is to eliminate waste, fraud and unnecessary spending.
