Elon Musk recently shared details about his conversation with Barron Trump during Thanksgiving celebrations at Mar-a-Lago. The event, hosted by U.S. President-elect Donald Trump at his Florida residence, featured a grand Thanksgiving dinner attended by family members and prominent guests, including Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk and his mother, Maye Musk.
Videos from the gathering went viral, showing the Musks seated at the same table as Mr. Trump, his wife Melania, and their youngest son, Barron. The clips sparked widespread curiosity about the topics discussed among the VIP guests.
In response to a lighthearted post on X (formerly Twitter), where a user jokingly imagined a conversation between Mr. Trump and Barron, Musk revealed he had been discussing «consciousness and video games» with the president-elect's son. Maye Musk joined the thread, praising Barron as «very smart» and noting that he and Elon had spoken throughout the evening.
Adding a lively touch to the evening, Musk was captured on video grooving to the song «YMCA» while seated beside Mr. Trump. In the clip, Mr. Trump playfully tapped Musk on the shoulder, prompting the billionaire to raise his hand and move to the beat. Musk later shared a post on X, wishing his followers a «great Thanksgiving.»
During the event, Musk also spent time with actor Sylvester Stallone, sharing on X that he had discussed the 1993 film Demolition Man. Musk noted the film’s uncanny predictions about a «crazy woke future» 30 years ago.
