Mike Tyson who was preparing to take on internet sensation Jake Paul is set to undergo rigorous health check-ups before the final bout. The fight which had been schedule for July has been postponed and will now be held on November 15. The news of this postponement came after Tyson had a health scare during a flight. The bout which is being viewed by many as ‘controversial’ will still take place after completely adhering to the rules and regulations at the AT&T stadium in Texas.
During a flight, the 58-year-old Tyson experienced a sudden stomach ulcer flare up. This led to complications. According to the officials from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations, the fight will continue to remain an eight-round contest with every round having a fight duration of 2 minutes each. The players will be wearing 14-ounce gloves.

Tyson will have to undergo rigorous medical check-ups before this bout. Specifically, two tests will determine his level of fitness. He must deliver positive results on the electroencephalogram (EEG) and the electrocardiogram (EKG). There may be other tests he may have to undergo depending on the advice of the authorities who will have to be satisfied regarding his health and safety before the bout.
