Kanye West, controversial rapper, has sent the entire real estate world, into a frenzy after demolishing an entire beachfront mansion in Malibu, priced at $53 million, that was designed by a very popular Japanese architect. This luxe mansion was purchased by West in September, 2021, which has then gone under the hammer and seen its prices depreciate by almost $14% due to the renovations and destruction, as per the plans of West, says NY Post.
According to reports, West had told a laborer working on this mansion's reconstruction, claiming that this new apartment was going to be his 'bomb shelter', or rather, his 'Batcave'. Batcave has a very crucial significance as it refers to DC Universe's Batman's hideout, that used to stay safe and protected from enemy sights, where he used to store all his precious Batgears.

It is still unclear as to why Kanye West would all of a sudden need a bomb shelter, but it is now reported that he never actually turned the home into a bomb shelter, he had once thought fondly of. Instead, the entire mansion has no electricity or running supplies, and has lost its value by a whopping $15 million, after West's visions never actually materialized.
