Kansas City Chiefs players Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes faced frightening home invasions in early October. According to documents from the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, both athletes were victims of burglaries at their respective Kansas City-area homes. Despite ongoing investigations, these incidents have raised concerns among the players and their fans.
On October 7, Travis Kelce's mansion in Leawood, Kansas, was broken into during the Chiefs' game against the New Orleans Saints. The burglars reportedly stole $20,000 in cash and damaged the back door. Kelce, who bought his expansive 17,000-square-foot home in 2023, was not home during the incident.

Meanwhile, on October 6, Patrick Mahomes’ estate in Belton, Missouri, where he lives with his wife Brittany and two children, was also broken into around midnight. Police dispatched to Mahomes’ home found no forced entry. Authorities continue to investigate both break-ins.
Travis Kelce purchased his three-acre property in 2023, where he lives amidst rumors of a relationship with Taylor Swift. Patrick Mahomes, on the other hand, bought his land in 2020 after signing his Chiefs contract and built a custom home with his wife Brittany. The mansion featured prominently in Netflix's “Quarterback” series, where Mahomes expressed his excitement about building his dream home in Kansas City.
