Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks down as market falls

Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(up 10.00%), Sikko Industries(up 2.86%), G S F C(up 0.96%), Agro Phos(up 0.59%) and National Fertilizer(up 0.22%) stood among the top gainers. KRISHANA(down 4.97%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 4.34%), Rama Phosphates(down 2.18%), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 2.09%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(down 2.03%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(down 1.97%), Paradeep Phosphates(down 1.47%), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 1.40%), Aries Agro(down 1.32%) and Madras Fertlizers(down 1.28%) were among the top losers of the day.

The NSE Nifty50 index ended 114.8 points down at 19428.3, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed down 365.53 points at 65322.65. HCL Technologies(up 3.28%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 1.03%), Titan Company Ltd(up 0.96%), Reliance Industries(up 0.42%), UltraTech Cement(up 0.38%), Tata Steel(up 0.25%), Tata Consultancy(up 0.19%), State Bank of India(up 0.09%), Mahindra & Mahindra(up 0.07%) and LTIMindtree Ltd(up 0.02%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
