Stock market update: FMCG stocks up as market falls

Dodla Dairy(up 8.70%), Hatsun Agro Product Ltd(up 8.33%), Umang Dairies(up 5.25%), Parag Milk(up 4.74%), Sheetal Cool Products(up 4.49%), Heritage Foods(up 3.70%), Jyothy Labs(up 3.30%), Bikaji Foods International(up 2.67%), Tasty Bite Eatables(up 2.42%) and Euro India Fresh Foods(up 2.29%) were among the top gainers. Vadilal Industries(down 1.97%), Gillette India(down 0.66%), Nestle India(down 0.54%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(down 0.44%), Dangee Dums(down 0.36%), Varun Beverages(down 0.32%), Britannia Industries(down 0.26%) and Dabur India(down 0.04%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 15.15 points down at 19818.0, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 72.37 points at 67025.07 at around 11:21AM. Dr Reddys Laboratories(up 2.32%), ITC(up 1.43%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(up 0.75%), Cipla(up 0.63%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(up 0.46%), State Bank of India(up 0.46%), Divis Laboratories(up 0.38%), Hindustan Unilever(up 0.35%), Maruti Suzuki(up 0.32%) and IndusInd Bank(up 0.31%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
