Stock market update: Mining stocks down as market rises
Orissa Minerals Development Company(up 4.22%), Lexus Granito(up 3.47%), Ashapura Minechem(up 2.20%), MOIL(up 2.16%), Madhav Marbles and Granites(up 1.39%) and KIOCL(up 0.50%) were among the top gainers. Aro Granite Industries(down 2.10%), Gujarat Mineral Dvpt Corporation(down 1.08%), 20 Microns(down 1.06%), Oriental Trimex(down 0.80%), Pokarna(down 0.22%), Coal India(down 0.15%) and NMDC Ltd(down 0.14%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 12.75 points up at 19335.3, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 86.61 points at 65291.66 at around 11:06AM. Bajaj Finance(up 7.25%), Bajaj Finserv(up 5.5%), Hero MotoCorp(up 2.61%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 1.51%), Titan Company Ltd(up 1.36%), State Bank of India(up 1.25%), Mahindra & Mahindra(up 1.07%), Bajaj Auto(up 1.05%), Adani Enterprises(up 0.9%) and UPL Ltd(up 0.73%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
