Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

ZUARIAGRO(up 2.89%), Agro Phos(up 2.70%), Madras Fertlizers(up 2.46%), Rama Phosphates(up 2.24%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 1.42%), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 1.33%), Aries Agro(up 0.98%), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 0.84%), National Fertilizer(up 0.78%) and Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(up 0.57%) stood among the top gainers. Bohra Industries(down 3.23%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 1.47%), Paradeep Phosphates(down 1.13%), Coromandel International(down 0.76%), KRISHANA(down 0.57%), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (down 0.19%) and Madhya Bharat Agro Products(down 0.04%) were among the top losers of the day.

The NSE Nifty50 index ended 83.9 points up at 19833.15, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed up 302.3 points at 67097.44. NTPC(up 2.78%), Bajaj Finance(up 2.22%), IndusInd Bank(up 2.11%), UltraTech Cement(up 1.87%), Bajaj Finserv(up 1.59%), State Bank of India(up 1.54%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(up 1.48%), Tata Motors(up 1.39%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(up 1.38%) and ITC(up 1.34%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
