Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

Coromandel International(up 2.65%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 2.54%), Madras Fertlizers(up 1.34%), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 1.00%), Rama Phosphates(up 0.74%), ZUARIAGRO(up 0.62%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(up 0.56%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 0.48%), Paradeep Phosphates(up 0.47%) and KRISHANA(up 0.45%) were among the top gainers. Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals(down 2.12%), Bohra Industries(down 1.66%), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 0.72%), Sikko Industries(down 0.69%), Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals(down 0.34%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(down 0.33%), G S F C(down 0.15%) and Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (down 0.08%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 23.0 points up at 19801.3, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 38.0 points at 66745.2 at around 10:39AM. Cipla(up 8.84%), Bajaj Finserv(up 2.04%), Divis Laboratories(up 1.69%), Hindalco Industries(up 1.69%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(up 1.63%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(up 1.58%), Apollo Hospitals Enterprises(up 1.02%), Bharti Airtel(up 1.0%), State Bank of India(up 0.8%) and Tata Motors(up 0.8%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
