The Nifty IT index was up 0.13 per cent at 30641.0 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 93.65 points at 19140.9, while the BSE Sensex was up 329.85 points at 64112.65.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 26 were trading in the green, while 24 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, JP Power, IOB, Indian Railway Fin and YES Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
