Stock market update: Nifty Pharma index 1.4%
Shares of Mankind Pharma Ltd.(up 4.72 per cent), Aurobindo Pharma Ltd.(up 4.45 per cent), Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd.(up 3.06 per cent), Natco Pharma Ltd.(up 3.04 per cent) and Laurus Labs Ltd.(up 2.51 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Gland Pharma Ltd.(down 0.68 per cent) and Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.53 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Pharma index closed 1.4 per cent at 22343.30.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 50.0 points at 23205.35, while the BSE Sensex stood 115.39 points at 76520.38.
