Stock market update: Nifty Realty index 2.21%

Shares of Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(up 6.07 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(up 4.88 per cent), Godrej Properties Ltd.(up 3.01 per cent), Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(up 2.81 per cent) and Phoenix Mills Ltd.(up 2.67 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.

On the other hand, Sobha Ltd.(down 1.45 per cent) and Macrotech Developers Ltd.(down 1.42 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 2.21 per cent at 1028.50.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 314.66 points at 24221.9, while the BSE Sensex stood 992.74 points at 80109.85.
