Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.38% in an upbeat market
Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(up 4.28 per cent), Sobha Ltd.(up 3.99 per cent), Godrej Properties Ltd.(up 1.12 per cent), Oberoi Realty Ltd.(up 1.05 per cent) and DLF Ltd.(up 0.92 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Phoenix Mills Ltd.(down 2.79 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(down 0.4 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was up 0.38 per cent at 572.55 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 67.95 points at 19591.5, while the BSE Sensex was up 165.2 points at 65673.52.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 35 were trading in the green, while 15 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, JP Power, IOB and PNB were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
