Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.92%
Shares of Sobha Ltd.(up 4.45 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(up 4.21 per cent), Oberoi Realty Ltd.(up 2.16 per cent), DLF Ltd.(up 2.07 per cent) and Godrej Properties Ltd.(up 1.1 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Phoenix Mills Ltd.(down 1.91 per cent), Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(down 1.03 per cent) and Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd.(down 0.65 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.92 per cent up at 575.65.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 114.75 points at 19638.3, while the BSE Sensex stood up 320.09 points at 65828.41.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 39 ended in the green, while 11 closed in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, JP Power, Suzlon Energy and IOB were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Zodiac Clothing, Guj Mineral Dev., R R Kabel, Puravankara and Ashoka Buildcon hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Navin Fluorine, CMM Infraprojects, FutureLifestyleFash, Debock Sales & Mktg and Dangee Dums hit their fresh 52-week lows.
