Anand Mahindra's Monday motivation posts are a huge hit on social media. This time too, his post won people's hearts for how therapeutic it was to watch a bulldozer at work. On Monday, the Chairman of Mahindra Group took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to share with his more than 10.7 million followers to share a nearly two-minute-long video of a bulldozer at work.
In the video, the person operating the bulldozer can be seen efficiently using various equipment and tools to complete his task of excavating the pavement with ease. Sharing lessons from 'perfectionist', the 69-year-old said that people who take pride and pleasure in their work always ensure the best results. «He’s not just an excavator operator.
He’s a perfectionist. He’s ‘manicuring’ the pavement. His lesson? Take pride and pleasure in every detail of your work,» he tweeted.
With more than 177.8K views, Mahindra's post attracted a lot of attention. From praising the operator to identifying areas they lack efficiency, the post got a lot of reactions from Mahindra's fans. Swapnil Srivastav, founder of sustainable kidswear fashion-tech brand Kidbea, said that dedication and detailing of work made people stop and watch how a bulldozer works.
A user (handle named Dhrutiman Mangal) stressed that he lacked the perfection and concentration that the (unseen) person in the video shows efficiently. «I need this type of concentration and perfection in my work but it will take a long long practice and process to do a job like that,» he wrote. Mahindra immediately responded to his post and lauded him for recognising his area of self-improvement.
