In a recent interview with Shubhankar Mishra, Varma shared his reasons for not keeping his relationship with Tamannaah under wraps. «We both felt that if we enjoyed spending time together and liked each other, there was no reason to hide it,» he explained. Varma emphasized the challenges of keeping a relationship secret, stating, «It takes a lot of effort to hide a relationship. You can't go out together, and your friends can't take photos. I don’t like such restrictions. It wasn’t like I wanted to be out there, but I just didn’t want to be caged. I didn’t want to cage my feelings.»

Keeping The Private Moments Private

Despite being open about their relationship, Varma revealed that many aspects remain private. He noted that they have over 5,000 photos together, none of which have been shared on social media. «Those moments are for us,» he said, highlighting the importance of keeping certain parts of their relationship just between the two of them.

Addressing the public's fascination with celebrity relationships, Varma humorously remarked, «Sabke andar ek bua baithi hai who only wants to discuss this (relationships).» He likened this obsession to a disease that cannot be changed but acknowledged that it comes with the territory of being in the public eye. «I can’t change that. As far as my work is concerned, I do receive appreciation for my work after they release. I cannot deny that,» he added.
