With a growing demand for high-speed internet, executives at these companies told ET that they are also helping internet service providers (ISPs) deploy artificial intelligence solutions and other technology tools to retain customers in a highly competitive market.
As connectivity improves, India presents significant expansion opportunities, said Pramod Gummaraj, chief executive of Bengaluru-based telecom startup Aprecomm.
Aprecomm collaborates with ISPs such as Excitel, Asianet, Netplus and GTPL to tackle key challenges, including reducing customer churn and increasing revenue per user through AI-driven solutions.
Currently, the startup has active partnerships with 10 ISPs across the country and claims to have a 20% market share in India. In May 2024, ACT Fibernet — one of India’s largest wired internet service providers — announced a strategic investment in Aprecomm.
