Joining the tech giant in 2018 as a strategist, Lee faced an uphill battle initially, as his teammates viewed him as a liability. «My first two months at Google? Honestly, they were weird,» he admitted. Lee described how colleagues urged him to «take it easy,» enjoy the perks, and explore the campus. «I felt like they saw me as just a kid who wouldn’t contribute much since I was the youngest on a team with members 6+ years out of school. Asia gold price fluctuation dampens demand in India
Gold demand in India remained subdued this week as volatile prices prompted potential buyers to delay purchases, while higher rates across China are expected to potentially offset upcoming seasonal demand. After gold prices became highly volatile over the past two weeks, buyers are now adopting a wait-and-see approach, hoping for prices to decline further, said a Chennai-based jeweller. In India, domestic prices fell to Rs 75,459 ($887.28) per 10 grams earlier this week after rising to Rs 79,120 last week.

Realty developers urge govt to reconsider proposal to bring FSI, additional FSI under GST
Realty developers’ body CREDAI has written to the finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman urging a review of the proposal as the move would result in a substantial incremental impact on project costs, pushing housing prices up by around 10% across various property markets of the country. “FSI/ additional FSI charges constitute a significant part of the project cost, and the proposal to impose 18% GST on such charges could prove to be counterproductive and act as a deterrent to housing supply and demand, owing to additional financial obligations and increasing housing prices as a direct consequence. We strongly request and recommend to the Government to keep the FSI charges exempt from GST,” said Boman Irani, president, CREDAI.

Amit Shah would have been 'ragpicker' if there wasn't Ambedkar's Constitution, claims Siddaramaiah
Amit Shah for his comments on B R Ambedkar in Parliament, senior Congress leader and Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Thursday claimed that Shah would have been a «ragpicker» if there wasn't Ambedkar's Constitution. The chief minister further said that if Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar was really functioning under the Constitution, he should have immediately suspended Shah from the House. Reading out a detailed statement in the assembly amid din by both BJP and the Congress MLAs over the issue, Siddaramaiah said the entire country has heard the «derogatory» words spoken by the Home Minister about Babasaheb Ambedkar. During a debate on the Constitution in Rajya Sabha on Tuesday, Shah said, «Abhi ek fashion ho gaya hai — Ambedkar, Ambedkar, Ambedkar, Ambedkar, Ambedkar, Ambedkar. Itna naam agar bhagwan ka lete to saat janmon tak swarg mil jata (It has become a fashion to say Ambedkar, Ambedkar, Ambedkar, Ambedkar, Ambedkar, Ambedkar'. If they had taken God's name so many times, they would have got a place in heaven).»
