In an interview with Mohsinaa Ahmad, Shrima candidly discussed an incident from last November, when she was unexpectedly entangled in a public controversy. She described the situation as a gross misrepresentation, emphasizing that her words and actions had been taken out of context.
“It felt as though I had been suddenly introduced as a dramatic character in an ongoing Indian television soap opera. One moment, I was just living my life, and the next, I was depicted as this new personality inserted into a storyline I had no part in,” she explained.
