Apoorva Mukhija, widely recognized as The Rebel Kid, has found herself embroiled in controversy due to her connection with remarks made by Ranveer Allahabadia on the show India’s Got Latent. As the inquiry into the matter progresses, a resurfaced video from her past has further intensified the situation. In the clip, the social media personality recounts unfavorable experiences from her time residing in Bengaluru, expressing strong dissatisfaction with the city.
She went as far as to claim that the metropolis, often referred to as India’s Silicon Valley, lacks vibrancy and depth. She openly admitted that she did not enjoy her stay there and, in particular, mentioned an incident in which an auto-rickshaw driver declined to converse with her because she was unfamiliar with Kannada. These statements have ignited widespread criticism, with many accusing her of being dismissive of Bengaluru’s culture and people.
During an appearance on Brief India, Apoorva elaborated on her experiences, recounting a specific night when she was significantly intoxicated. She explained that after leaving a nightclub, she boarded an auto-rickshaw to return to her hotel but lost consciousness during the ride.
The driver eventually gently woke her up upon reaching her destination and informed her that she had arrived. Reflecting on the moment, she expressed her gratitude for Mumbai, stating that such experiences made the city worthwhile. She emphasized how the kindness and safety she felt in Mumbai justified the expenses of living there,
