Since her presidential campaign launch, over 52,000 volunteers have joined her efforts in these states. The influx has been so large that county party officials in places like Greensboro, North Carolina, describe their offices as chaotic, with up to 30 volunteers arriving daily and donors helping to fund neighborhood canvassers, as per the reports of Yahoo news.
Harris, who hails from California, is making notable progress in two traditionally Republican states. According to the latest Bloomberg News/Morning Consult poll, she is narrowly leading Donald Trump in both Georgia and North Carolina by 2 percentage points. This margin is within the error range, indicating a tight race. Harris’s performance represents an improvement from July, when she trailed Trump by 2 points in North Carolina and was even in Georgia. This is a considerable shift from President Joe Biden's earlier figures before he withdrew from the race.
