Philip Webster also stepped down from his role as lead manager of the CT UK High Income trust in July, and was replaced by Moss.
Webster, who joined Columbia Threadneedle as a director following the firm's acquisition of BMO Global Asset Management in July 2022, had been the lead manager of the fund since April 2017.

Moss, who is also a senior portfolio manager and had also been deputy manager of the strategy, will draw on the firm's European equities expertise, with a team that consists of 18 investment professionals, as well as the broader global research and responsible investment functions.
CT UK High Income trust replaces portfolio manager
Prior to his current role, Moss held the role of co-head of global equities at BMO Global Asset Management, where he worked for over 26 years.
In July this year, Webster stepped down from his role as lead manager of the CT UK High Income trust, and was replaced by Moss.
He joined BMO as a director in May 2016 from Aberdeen Asset Management, now abrdn, where he was a senior investment manager with the pan-European equity team.
At Aberdeen, he had responsibilities across UK and European mandates while being lead manager of Aberdeen Smaller Companies Income trust, which he managed for 8 years.
