The decision as announced by Juna Akhara's Mahant Karpuri Ji. He criticized Singh for his behavior, calling him a «Mawali» and «awara» rather than a true sadhu.
Karpuri Ji, in an interview to NDTV, explained that Singh was never truly a member of the Akhada.
«He was not a sadhu but a vagabond and a rowdy… We chased him away from the arena. Sometimes the media also publicizes things without knowing the truth,» he said. He further clarified, «He came here while roaming around. He used to eat and run away. He wasn't a sadhu, but a householder.»
Singh, who gained attention for his viral presence at the Maha Kumbh Mela, was reportedly banned from entering the Juna Akhada camp after allegedly using abusive language against his guru, Mahant Someshwar Puri.
