Samsung India on Saturday said that it has filed official complaints with relevant authorities against certain workers who voilated its policies and said they are open to having a dialogue with the protesting workers facilitated by the government.

This comes after the company saw around 500 workers striking at their Sripreumbudur plant on Friday, marking the second instance of a worker protest at the South Korean electronics giant in less than six months.
The workers demanded the withdrawal of suspension of three employee who they believed had been unlawfully suspended.
«Samsung does not condone any unlawful actions by employees that disrupt the industrial peace at the workplace. They (certain workers who violated the policies) will be subject to appropriate disciplinary action following a formal enquiry and have been suspended to protect the work environment and other workers,» a Samsung India spokesperson told ET.
The company added that this was a legitimate measure taken in accordance with all applicable Indian laws.
