In the Nifty index, HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 7.95 per cent), Bharat Electronics Ltd.(up 3.10 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 2.78 per cent), Shriram Finance Ltd.(up 2.56 per cent) and Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 1.94 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
