In the Nifty index, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 2.15 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(up 1.58 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 1.43 per cent), Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(up 1.31 per cent) and Tata Steel Ltd.(up 1.24 per cent) were among the top gainers.
