The NSE Nifty index traded 119.21 points up at 23322.4, while BSE Sensex was 488.35 points at 77107.68 as of 11:27AM(IST)on January 20.
In the Nifty index, Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(up 9.34 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(up 6.71 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 2.83 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(up 2.58 per cent) and State Bank of India(up 1.89 per cent) were among the top gainers.
