In the Nifty index, UltraTech Cement Ltd.(up 6.80 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 3.06 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(up 2.79 per cent), Shriram Finance Ltd.(up 2.15 per cent) and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 2.13 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
