Star Trek 3: The Search for Spock' which is a 1984 thriller will be re-released on its 40th anniversary in the UK. However, it is unclear as of now regarding its US theatrical release. In June, the movie will hit the theatres in the UK. The movie earned $76 million at the box office and this included an earning of $16 million in the opening weekend. This number when adjusted for inflation in 2024 works out to a total earning of $216 million and this includes a weekend opening of $45 million.
