Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

Sikko Industries(up 2.33%), Rama Phosphates(up 2.22%), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 1.91%), Madras Fertlizers(up 1.60%), ZUARIAGRO(up 1.25%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(up 1.08%), Aries Agro(up 0.55%), Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals(up 0.37%), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (up 0.27%) and Agro Phos(up 0.15%) were among the top gainers. Bohra Industries(down 4.99%), Coromandel International(down 1.03%), Paradeep Phosphates(down 0.78%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(down 0.44%), National Fertilizer(down 0.42%), Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals(down 0.19%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(down 0.19%), G S F C(down 0.15%) and KRISHANA(down 0.03%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 37.25 points up at 19451.0, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 116.67 points at 65675.56 at around 10:55AM. Infosys(up 2.2%), HCL Technologies(up 2.15%), Hindalco Industries(up 1.91%), Tech Mahindra(up 1.85%), Eicher Motors(up 1.47%), LTIMindtree Ltd(up 1.3%), Tata Consultancy(up 1.25%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 0.66%), Hero MotoCorp(up 0.62%) and Hindustan Unilever(up 0.6%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
