Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

Paradeep Phosphates(up 3.72%), Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals(up 1.51%), Sikko Industries(up 1.05%), Coromandel International(up 1.00%), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (up 0.94%), ZUARIAGRO(up 0.91%), Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals(up 0.89%), Aries Agro(up 0.79%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 0.63%) and Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 0.58%) were among the top gainers. Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(down 2.08%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 1.10%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(down 0.62%), KRISHANA(down 0.51%) and Agro Phos(down 0.15%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 131.3 points up at 19811.9, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 483.76 points at 66839.47 at around 10:09AM. Larsen & Toubro(up 3.91%), Reliance Industries(up 2.25%), Tata Motors(up 1.62%), ITC(up 1.43%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(up 1.1%), Britannia Industries(up 1.06%), UPL Ltd(up 1.03%), LTIMindtree Ltd(up 1.0%), Hero MotoCorp(up 0.95%) and TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 0.94%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
