Since Tata Electronics named Randhir Thakur, who was previously president of Intel Foundry Services, its CEO and managing director in April 2023, the company has made several key appointments. These include seasoned Intel professionals Bhavna Madhwal and Scott Holden, who are now spearheading its senior executive hiring initiatives, people aware of the developments said.
«Randhir Thakur's vision is to build a strong team of trusted aides who can make the company's vision come to life,» one of the people told ET. «Intel is his first port of call having worked with the company for over five years in his most recent stint. For the scale that the company is aiming for, there will be a lot more global hires that they would be targeting, not just from Intel.»
Tata Electronics has been rapidly expanding its Hosur facility but has also got multiple projects that are coming up at a feverish pace across the country — be it the fab at Dholera in Gujarat or the company's assembly, test and packaging unit in Assam.
