Right-wing show host Tucker Carlson directly stated,' The Biden administration did, they tried to kill Putin', which came off as a shocker, but he did not present any evidence to support his claim. Moreover, Carlson later doubled down on his assertion, when his his guest, journalist Matt Taibbi, tried to reconfirm this claim from Carlson.
Carlson then went on to question who would be in charge of Russia's nuclear firepower after Putin along with various geopolitical issues that emerged during the Biden administration.
It must also be remembered that Carlson has earlier dropped some controversial theories like these, without any shred of evidence. This even included spreading dangerous falsehoods about Covid vaccines, at a time when the pandemic was at its peak.
