According to The Washington Post, the Super Scooper can actually carry significantly heavier loads than the helicopters equipped with buckets and can replenish its water reserves without landing while allowing for continuous operation until fuel runs out.
The Super Scooper operates at speeds of 100 mph while collecting 1,600 gallons of water in under 12 seconds, asserted The Washington Post. During recent times, only one of the two Super Scoopers loaned by the Quebec government is actually operational due to the damage from a civilian drone.
