Kamala Harris has emerged as the favorite candidate to receive the presidential nomination from the Democratic party. She has garnered the support from her party members. As far as her competition is concerned, Donald Trump is a formidable opponent. According to this Democratic Strategist, Harris may be losing supporters to Trump from the rust belt which fall within some of the swing states.

Julian Epstein who is also the former Chief Counsel for the House Judiciary Committee made these remarks in a TV show. He said that many of the working-class members may be extending their support to Donald Trump. Separately, another survey indicated that the voters believe Trump is best suited to fix issues pertaining to the economy and employment.
According to three major aggregate surveys conducted by the New York Times, The Hill and Real Clear Politics, Trump is leading in all these surveys. Though these leads are marginal. The Real Clear Politics survey indicated a lead over just 1.7%, The New York Times gave a lead over just 2% and The Hill indicated a lead over just 2.1%.
