UTI Mutual Fund has filed a draft document with Sebi for a multicap fund. UTI Multi Cap Fund will be an open-ended equity scheme investing across large cap, mid cap and small cap stocks.
The investment objective of the scheme will be to generate long-term capital appreciation by investing predominantly in equity and equity related securities of companies across the market capitalization spectrum.

This multi cap fund will be benchmarked against Nifty 500 Multicap 50:25:25 TRI. The scheme will be managed by Karthikraj Lakshmanan and Deepesh Agarwal.
An exit load of 1% will be applicable, if redeemed/ switched-out within 90 days from the date of allotment and nil thereafter. The maximum total expense ratio (TER) permissible under Regulations 52 (6) © will be upto 2.25%.
