Mary Austin, the former fiancee of Queen frontman Freddie Mercury, is set to get £187.5 million as part of Queen's record-breaking £1 billion song catalog sale agreement with Sony. This significant amount is added to the fortune she received when Freddie passed away in 1991, and she also received further shares when his parents passed away, as per the reports of 'The Sun.'
After Freddie passed away in 1991, Mary received a large amount of his fortune, which included 50% of his future earnings and properties. Following Freddie's parents' passing in 2003 and 2016, her stake rose to 75%. Along with managing the band's catalog and paying royalties to the surviving members, she is also in charge of 18.75% of the company's earnings, Queen Productions.

When Mary first met Freddie in 1970, she was a 19-year-old art student while he was an aspiring musician in London. In 1973, they moved in together and became engaged.
