US Election Day, the latest polls indicate that the race between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump is closing. A set of three national polls is bringing out Trump's momentum, though Harris' success is fading away. The ABC News/Ipsos poll shows Harris leading 50 per cent-48 per cent, down from a six-point advantage, while the NBC News poll has the two candidates tied at 48 per cent, as per a report.
The increasing lead of Harris, which was her high after stepping in place of Biden as the Democratic candidate, has been lost in the recent weeks. CBS News/YouGov statistics display a three-point lead for Harris, dwindled from a four-point lead the previous month. Apart from a surge after the Democratic convention and a strong September debate, Harris, on the other hand, has had her favorable ratings slide to the detriment of the race as it approaches Election Day, Fox News reported.

GOP leader Neil Newhouse is of the opinion that it is amazing that at a pivotal time just before the election, Harris might be struggling, with Trump overtaking her on the main battleground states, which will in all likelihood decide the election's outcome.
