World's worst burglar? A thief puts stealing on hold to read a book
heist to read a book about Greek mythology, a would-be Rome burglar wishes he had learned this lesson sooner. The 38-year-old robber entered a flat in the Prati neighbourhood of the city after scaling the balcony, but he was sidetracked by a book. He continued pouring over the anthology on the terrace after that. According to local media, the burglar stayed there for so long that the homeowner, 71, woke up and found him flipping through the pages. The thief attempted to flee by sliding down the same balcony. However, he was soon arrested after being obstructed by his neighbours. Also Read :How does the $40 million Bayesian yacht that sunk off Italian coast look from the inside? Here are details

Chinese video game ‘Black Myth: Wukong’ is an instant global hit, what is it all about?
Wukong exemplifies the growing maturity of China's gaming sector and the integrated resource capabilities of Chinese producers. With this release, Chinese game developers enter a market that has long been dominated by triple-A Western titles. Due to this innovation, Chinese is now the default language in triple-A games instead of English. The Guardian, a British newspaper, praised the game for its stunning visuals, cinematic beauty, and refreshing sense of speed, as well as its fluid-feeling combat. It described Wukong as the most thrilling and contentious video game of the summer. The majority of the hype, which has been accentuated by Chinese state media, is for the action, design, and playability of the game. Also Read: Did Obama really use the Trump D*** Joke? Britain's tech magnate Mike Lynch confirmed dead, mortal remains pulled from wreckage of superyacht
Italian Coast Guard announced on Thursday that the body of British tech magnate Mike Lynch is among those recovered from the wreckage of a superyacht off the coast of Sicily. The yacht, deemed unsinkable by its builders, was involved in a tragic incident where one woman, Lynch's daughter, remains missing. Lynch, who had recently celebrated his acquittal on fraud charges with his family and supporters, was among six people whose bodies were recovered by rescue crews following Monday’s disaster. The Bayesian, a 56-meter (184-foot) British-flagged yacht, sank in a storm early Monday while moored about a kilometer (half a mile) offshore. Civil protection officials suspect the vessel was struck by a tornado, or waterspout, which caused it to sink rapidly.

Gujarat has Asia's richest village: Every resident in this desert town has nearly Rs 22 lakh fixed deposit
Madhapur, a village on the outskirts of Bhuj in Gujarat, is dubbed 'Asia's richest village.' With a population of around 32,000, up from 17,000 in 2011, its residents hold fixed deposits worth Rs 7,000 crore. The village's prosperity is attributed to its NRI (non-resident Indian) families who deposit crores every year in local banks and post offices. Madhapur is home to the Patel community and boasts 17 banks, including major public and private banks like HDFC Bank, SBI, PNB, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, and Union Bank. This is unusual for a single village, but more banks are interested in opening branches here. The significant deposits are primarily from families who live abroad, particularly in African countries where Gujaratis dominate the construction business. Many residents also reside in the UK, Australia, America, and New Zealand.

Meet Pandit Rakesh Bhatt, the Hindu priest who opened Democratic meet with 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam': Watch viral video
Democratic National Convention's third day began with a unique spiritual dimension as Pandit Rakesh Bhatt, a renowned Hindu priest, led the session with a traditional Vedic prayer. The event, held at the United Center in Chicago, was a significant occasion for rallying support behind Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris. Pandit Bhatt’s prayer invoked the ancient Indian concept of 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,' which translates to 'the whole world is one family.' Bhatt opened with a prayer that resonated across the hall, chanting verses in Sanskrit before translating them into English for the diverse audience. “Even if we have differences, when it comes to the nation, we have to be united,” Bhatt stated. “Let our minds think together. Let our hearts beat as one. All for the betterment of society. May this make us powerful so we can unite and make our nation proud.”

Luxury yacht sinks off coast of Italy, chilling footage caught on camera; watch video
Italy on Monday morning, including British tech entrepreneur Mike Lynch and chairman of Morgan Stanley International Jonathan Bloomer, are presumed to be dead. Italian coast guard officials said on Tuesday that Lynch and Bloomer were among the six people still not found. The other individuals include Hannah, Bloomer's 18-year-old daughter, Clifford Chance attorney Chris Morvillo and his wife Judy, and Bloomer's wife Neda. On Monday, a storm formed around the 184-foot British-flagged yacht The Bayesian, which was moored approximately half a mile offshore. According to civil protection officials, they think the ship was hit by a waterspout, a tornado, that crossed the water and swiftly sank the yacht. On the Giornale di Sicilia website, grainy footage from shore-based closed-circuit cameras depicted the Bayesian's lit 246-foot mast enduring the storm before it vanished within a minute.
