Biden’s key aides under fire after his lackluster performance in the debate
US Presidential Debate as a disaster for the party and Biden. The president was seen to be fumbling and unable to speak coherently. This is reflected in a national survey which indicated that Trump has managed to retain his narrow lead in the contest over Biden. In this scenario, it is not only Biden who is being blamed. Three of his close advisors have come under sharp scrutiny. It is believed that they helped him to prepare for the debate. Biden’s family members and some donors have expressed their disappointment with these advisors and called for their removal.
These three advisors are: Anita Dunn, her husband Bob Bauer and Ron Klain.
Anita Dunn:
She is Biden’s senior advisor for communications and has been a long-term aide of Biden. She is considered to be part of a trusted group of aides close to Biden. Earlier, she had served as Barack Obama’s campaign strategist. She is believed to have approved the debate strategy which has been a failure, according to many.

John Morgan who is one of the fund raisers for Biden accused these advisors of political malpractice. He said that Dunn had over prepared Biden and over coached him before the debate. He also said that the venue had favored Trump. He has called for the removal of Dunn and her husband.
