The police described the tension in the marriage, noting that Kiran wanted Navyashree to change her profession and often suspected her fidelity. «Differences cropped up between the couple over the last one year,» an officer explained, adding that Kiran frequently checked Navyashree's mobile phone, which annoyed her.
