Prince Harry has eventually sparked discussions about his evolving accent since moving to the United States in the year 2020 with his wife, Meghan Markle. According to New York Post, in a recent video where he jokingly got a tattoo from rapper Jelly Roll, Prince Harry appeared to adopt American phrases and pronunciations, such as using ‘ass’ instead of the British ‘arse’.
New York Post reported that this gradual shift of Prince Harry has led to comments on social media while some observers already noted that his British accent seems pretty diluted.

Several communication experts have already tracked changes in Prince Harry's speech patterns since the year 2019 while suggesting that his Americanized vocabulary could be influenced by his immersion in American culture and close interactions with Meghan Markle, asserted New York Post. Linguistics expert Jennifer Dorman also noted that borrowing American phrases might help Prince Harry connect better with American audiences.
As Prince Harry gradually settles into life in Montecito located in California, he has renounced his British residency and expressed a desire for US citizenship while stating that he loves living in US, noted New York Post.
