Stock market update: Nifty Pharma index falls 1.36% in a weak market
Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(up 0.21 per cent) were among the top gainers.
J B Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd.(down 5.05 per cent), Natco Pharma Ltd.(down 4.46 per cent), Biocon Ltd.(down 3.9 per cent), Laurus Labs Ltd.(down 3.34 per cent) and Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd.(down 3.08 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Pharma index was down 1.36 per cent at 20959.55 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 252.1 points at 22819.7, while the BSE Sensex was down 839.64 points at 75453.96.
