Disney Television Discovers: Talent Showcase' is back but with a slightly different slant. According to the 'Deadline', the talent showcase will debut with 'D-Day: An Original Workplace Comedy'. This is being undertaken to support upcoming and rising talent. There will be a special screening which will be organized for special invitees of the industry, in the later summer months.

The 'D Day: An Original Workplace' has been written by Eric Myrick. It takes the fans into a Los Angeles-based technology startup. In the present times, especially in tech-based companies, layoffs are common as many companies are downsizing and some are being acquired. It has led to many anxious individuals and has affected the workplace dynamics. This is exactly what this show focuses on. It takes the viewers to a stressed HR team to handle rumors of a takeover by another tech giant.
This has led to the workers being scared of employment loss and worried about their jobs. The department has to keep up the morale of the team and save their jobs even as a corporate shake-up is on the offing. Will they be able to save the team and keep up the morale? One will have to watch the series to get these answers.
