John R Tyson who is the Chief Financial Officer of Tyson Foods has been arrested by the police in Arkansas for dangerous and intoxicated driving on Thursday. This is the second time he has been arrested for allegedly committing the same crime. He has been suspended by his company after being arrested by the law enforcement agencies. The food processing company is known for its good quality processed food and is an American multi-national corporation with its headquarters in Springdale in the state of Arkansas.
Tyson was arrested by the police after they witnessed him driving his SUV on a curb and the grass while making an illegal U-turn. The police noticed that he had bloodshot and watery eyes and smelled of alcohol. After initially denying that he was drunk, he admitted to the police that he had consumed five to seven beers at a bar in Fayetteville. In accordance with the law, the police conducted a breath analyzer test.

A breath analyzer measures the level of alcohol in the blood stream. In many states, this will have to be followed up by a blood test and a urine analysis test which measures the level of alcohol in the body. It is these tests that enables the Jury to decide on criminal cases involving intoxicated driving. In Tyson’s case, the reading came to 0.191 whereas the legal limit is 0.08. He was arrested and released after spending nine hours in custody.
