Republican U.S. Representative from North Carolina Virginia Foxx, chair of the committee, has sent out subpoenas to Kamala Harris' running mate and Minnesota Education Commissioner Willie Jett for what is being touted as the 'biggest COVID-related scam in the United States.
What is the subpoena to Walz all about?
The letter given out to Walz has asked for the extent of his involvement through designated responsibilities and performed actions to address the gigantic fraud of the country's funds which were sanctioned to feed hungry children.
The 'Minnesota Department of Education: Oversight of Feeding Our Future' audit report published in June, 2024 by the office of the Legislative Auditor of the state accepted that the Education Department could not properly oversee the fraudulent nonprofit's ventures, and that the department's «actions and inactions created opportunities for fraud.»

The FBI had conducted raids of the fake NGO between April 2020 and January 2022, and nearly seventy individuals were fundamentally charged for their involvement in the scam, five of whom have since been convicted.
