The constituency is currently held by BJP's Vijender Gupta, who aims for a third consecutive win. Gupta, who also served as the Leader of Opposition in the Delhi Assembly, faces a tough challenge from AAP's Pradeep Mittal.
While Gupta is the sitting MLA of the constituency, Mittal was elected the Municipal Councillor in December 2022.

Rohini electoral demography

There were 1,82,979 voters in the Rohini constituency during the 2020 Assembly Elections. Out of this, 95302 were male and 87,665 were female voters, according to Election Commission's data.
In 2015, the total number of voters in the Rohini constituency was 1,74,600. Out of this, 91,328 voters were male, 83,262 were females.
